My approach to healing
Reflexology is the application of appropriate pressure to specific points and areas on the feet, hands or ears. These reflex points correspond to different body organs and systems and pressing them creates benefits for a person's health. We use reflexology to treat a number of ailments and injuries such as plantar fasciitis or muscle stiffness which can cause problems with balance and stability. It can be used to help expectant mothers to prepare for labor.
For me, reflexology is the number one treatment to reduce stress. By using different techniques
and pressure points, we invite and welcome the body to heal itself. As a practitioner, I view myself
as a channel to help you connect to and accept a higher level of healing, but I want my patients to be partners in their own healing. I want them to understand how powerful their minds and bodies really are, and how each organ and symptom is part of a larger system. My clients feel deep relaxation through treatment which also allows the nervous system to balance and the mind and body to connect and work together to heal. Reflexology enables us to heal more quickly. It improves digestion, elimination and blood pressure, enables us to sleep better and to live a more healthy, balanced and less stressful life.
